When Procase designs the architecture and the plan to develop a business solution, we visualize and document a technical means to achieve the client’s business objectives. The client may come to Procase with an objective, an idea, or a preliminary technical design. They tell us their time and resource constraints. We provide a plan that will accomplish the stated business objectives. The client is assured that a solution can be developed with existing technology, a specific schedule, and identified resources.
In some situations, the client wants Procase simply to review technology or plans already in place. They may ask Procase to advise them on a narrow facet of their operations.
All of Procase’s experience with enterprise applications, e-business web applications, data warehouses, and database services guide our architecture and planning work. With the client, we examine what information is to be collected, processed, stored, and distributed. We look at alternative technologies for each of these functions, ones that meet the throughput rates and data volumes, security requirements, reliability and operational goals. The solution may call for a combination of commercially available and custom software. At the conclusion of the project, the client has all the technical information needed to contribute to their business decisions.
