Procase’s methods for planning and executing projects or support services lead to quality results for
the client. There are templates for project plans, guides for work steps, and clear definitions of
deliverables. The methodology provides a base for estimating the time, money, and resources needed
for a project. The project plan, descriptions of the work, and deliverable templates are communication
vehicles. Everyone involved with the project knows what to expect, and has a shared, clear understanding
of what to do. Since Procase consultants have the discipline of working with a methodology and related
tools, it is easy to adapt to the client’s methodology when asked.
There are three project tactics Procase uses to increase the success of our clients’ projects.
-
We never skimp on the analysis phase. There are rigorous criteria that determine when the data
model is sufficient, the processing steps are defined, and the data conversion is planned. This
phase includes a prototype for the client to validate.
-
During the project we deliver intermediate, phased-in results. The client gets value without
needing to wait for everything at the end. If there are problems, they are identified early and
corrected with minimal effort.
-
We spend extra effort on quality assurance. We inspect every deliverable. We test every program,
report, and process. We practice all production data conversion steps and go-live actions. There
are no surprises.
These tactics also lead to a reduction in overall elapsed project time and lower costs for our clients.
